This policy also seeks to cover our data collection activities both online and offline, extending to personal data we collect through different channels, including, but not limited to, websites, applications, surveys, social networks, contracts, customer service and interaction, and events. Please note that we may aggregate combined personal data from different sources, for example, website data gathering and offline events. In more specific cases, should you decide not to provide your personal data described as necessary (We will indicate when this is the case, for example by explicitly putting this information on forms), it may not be possible to provide our services and/or products or even to enter into contracts.
- Personal Data Sources
Your data is collected by us through the following sources:
- ília websites: Our website may be used to collect personal data (described in topic 2 below). This includes the main website operated directly through our domains and IP addresses, as well as other websites or pages that we operate on third-party services. For example Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook and other third parties offering this type of service.
- Instant Messaging and E-Mail Systems: refers to any electronic service used to maintain communication with ília, including channels made available directly by us, or third-party services such as WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, SMS and similar.
- Online and offline events: Technology events, forums and presentations can be used for interaction with ília. Be it in person or remotely. For example, through videoconferencing via Zoom Meetings or other such tools.
- Customer Service or Commercial Interaction: Interactions through our communication and service channels or through our sales team.
- Online ads, advertisements and forms: Any type of interaction through ília ads, advertisements or any type of online form.
- Offline registrations: Contracts, forms or other material to these. Whether distributed at events, meetings or other interactions with ília.
- Data received from third parties: Including, but not limited to, social networks and third party sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and similar, data aggregator services, ília partners, public sources, and data that may be received during the acquisition from other companies.
- What personal data we collect and how it is used
During contact and interaction with ília, from any of the previously mentioned data collection sources, we may collect various types of personal data, as explained below:
- Contact information: Any type of information that facilitates our contact. May be your physical mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and websites.
- Login information: This is information used to identify and authenticate yourself in any ília service or of third parties used internally, such as username, e-mail, telephone, encrypted password and in some cases security questions may apply.
- Demographic information and your interests: Any information that may describe your demographics, habits or behavior characteristics, including your birthday, date of birth, age or age group, gender, geographic location, favorite products, hobbies and leisure activities, other similar topics and information about your lifestyle.
- Technical information about your computer equipment or mobile devices: Details about the configuration of your device used to process, access or store services, data, tools or access the ília internal network. IP address, geographic location, operating system details, software used and installed, unique device identifier, hardware details, space occupancy, language, zip code, area code, reference URL, location and time zone can all be collected, all of which are used so that ília can better understand user behavior and improve its products, services and advertising.
- Information on how you use our services: During interaction with ília, our services, testing, usability research and related items, we may capture information about the actions you have taken during this interaction. This may include details such as which links you click on, which pages or content you view and for how long, and other similar information and statistics about your interactions, such as response times to content, download errors and length of visits to particular pages. This information may also be captured through automated technologies, such as Cookies and web beacons, as well as third-party tracking. You are free to object to the use of such technologies, or to request prior notification prior to their use. ília treats information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. - Customer satisfaction surveys and feedback: This is information spontaneously shared with ília about the user’s experience related to our services and products.
- Customer/consumer generated content: This includes any content created and shared directly or indirectly with ília via social networks or other similar means, whether online or offline. This data includes texts, comments, articles, photos, videos, personal stories or other similar content and media. Where permitted, either expressly or through other forms of consent registration, such as click-boxes, we collect and publish consumer-generated and customer-generated content (internal and external) for a variety of activities, including outreach, events, presentations, promotions, site community resources, engagement and social networking.
- Third-party social networking information: Refers to any data shared on a social network or information that is part of your social networking profile (such as facebook, instagram, linkedin and the like) that the user allows the third party social network to share with us. This data may include basic account information (name, email, date of birth, current city, friends list, and similar information) and any other added information or activities that you allow the social network to share with us. - Financial information: Any data that ília requires to fulfill an order from you or that you use to make payments, such as bank account data, credit/debit card or other forms of payment used.
- Sales team or any contact through our service channels: Interactions carried out by any means may be recorded and stored, in accordance with applicable laws, for ília’s operational needs.
- Sensitive personal data: When there is a legitimate interest or it is necessary to process your sensitive personal data, for any reason, we will obtain your prior, express and formal consent for any processing.
As previously established, ília will not provide your personal information to third parties without your prior authorization, with the exception of cases where it is necessary to respond to legal or governmental requests, only within the limits of the Internet Civil Framework and the Personal Data Protection Act, for the purpose of protecting the rights, property and/or safety of ília’s products, its customers, employees, suppliers and/or the general public (third parties, in accordance with the law). Therefore, if ília is obliged by law, court order or other legal process to disclose any personal information of the user, it will not hesitate to cooperate with these agents, within the limits foreseen in the Internet Civil Framework and the Personal Data Protection Law. Thus, by accepting and using ília’s services and products, you authorize ília to disclose this personal information only for the purposes indicated above.
- Personal data of minors
ília does not knowingly request, collect, process, store or share personal data from underage children and adolescents. If at any time such data is found to be being handled unintentionally, we will remove the personal data of the child or adolescent from our records as soon as possible.
If information from minors is submitted to ília products, we ask the user to provide specific consent, given by at least one parent or legal guardian, on behalf of the minor. By accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy and submitting information from minors, it will be tacitly understood that this consent has been given by the parent or guardian, and that the information inserted in the ília products, together with the information from minors, are their responsibility, the latter being solely responsible for the content accessed by minors.
Use of personal data
In this topic we describe for what purposes ília collects your personal data and the different types of personal data we collect for each purpose. Please note that not all of the uses below are relevant to all individuals and may apply only to specific situations.
- Customer services: Your data is used to provide services to yourself, such as to answer your questions, questions and suggestions. Solution of technical or service related problems in production or in warranty.

In these situations, the use of your personal information is completely voluntary, which means that you can object or even withdraw your consent at any time in relation to the processing of your personal data for these purposes.

In these situations, the use of your personal information is completely voluntary, this means that you can object or even withdraw your consent at any time in relation to the processing of your personal data for these purposes.

- Legal reasons or merger/acquisition: In the instance of a merger/acquisition with/by another company, if the assets are acquired by another company or even due to bankruptcy, ília may share your personal data with your legal successors, respecting the requirements of current legislation. We will also disclose your personal data to third parties when:

- In response to a request from the competent legal authority;

- Other general purposes and situations: According to current legislation, ília makes use of your personal data for other general business purposes, such as maintaining your account, conducting internal or market surveys and measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, according to your given consent. Disclosure of your personal data
Besides the entities that are part of ília, the sharing of your personal data can also be done with the following types of third parties:
- Service providers: This may include external companies that are contracted by ília to assist in the operation of our business. This includes service providers such as AWS for cloud computing, Google cloud productivity among other service providers. Our service providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and data security and in the event of a breach they are liable under applicable law.
- For legal reasons to third parties who use your personal data because of a merger/acquisition: Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties for legal reasons or in the context of a merger or acquisition of ília.
Retention and termination of processing of your personal data
In accordance with current legislation, ília uses your personal data only for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, as described in this policy, or to comply with applicable legal requirements, including the security of processing in accordance with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. auditing, accounting and statutory retention terms), litigation regarding processing, and for the establishment, exercise or defense of your legitimate interest.
Personal data used to provide a personalized experience will be kept exclusively for the time allowed, in accordance with applicable law.
In relation to the end of the processing of your personal data, it will be eliminated within the scope and technical limits of the activities. Therefore, when cancelling your registration, you will have 30 (thirty) days counting from the last day of access to ília products to export your data. After this period, ília will no longer guarantee the availability of your data for export, and you are aware that, by law, ília has an obligation to maintain a physical backup of these files for the periods required by law, regardless of the services and/or products supplied by the ília products.

Processing, storage or transfer of your personal data
We apply the best security practices to ensure that your personal data is kept safe and confidential. These protections do not apply to data you have chosen to share in public areas such as social networks and third parties.
- Individuals who may access your personal data: Your data may only be accessed by our employees or authorized agents, provided that they actually need to have access to such information, depending also on the specific purposes for which your personal data was collected.
- Security measures in operating environments: Your personal data is stored in operating environments where both technical and administrative security measures are applied in order to prevent any type of unauthorized access.
- Measures that ília expects you to take: ília follows security protocols to ensure that your data is safe, but it is important that you stay alert. When creating an account on any ília service or third party services contracted by ília, make sure to set a strong and secure password to prevent unauthorized parties from gaining access. We recommend that you never reveal or share your password with others.
If you need to use a shared computer, never save access data and make sure you log out of your account and preferably use an “Anonymous Tab”. Note that said computer has to be safe and must meet basic security criteria.
- Transfer of personal data: It is possible at some point that it is necessary to transfer your personal data stored with ília to third parties, according to the purposes established in this policy. For this reason, we may transfer your personal data to other countries, provided that they have laws and regulations compatible with those in force in Brazil.
The obligations of the user of ília Products
- It is your duty to obey the terms of use of ília products as published by ília on its website, and this Policy, which includes respecting the intellectual property of third parties.
- You must not download, upload, or otherwise disseminate material or information of a violent, offensive, racist, or xenophobic nature, or anything which violates the spirit and objectives of ília, its customers, employees, suppliers, and its community.
- You must not provide ília and/or any other user with information that you believe is harmful to your person, professionally or socially. Thus, when posting comments in public places and on social networks that integrate with ília products or any ília communication channel, you must take into account that this information will be viewed by other users and the general public.
Regardless of the above, ília implements technology, security policies and other measures to protect the personal data under its control against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, illegal or accidental destruction and accidental loss. Likewise, ília also requires that all our employees, and other persons who have access to or are associated with the processing of your data respect your confidentiality.
Your rights regarding personal data
You have the right to access, review, edit or/and request a copy of the information about your personal data that is processed by ília.
You also have the right to request information about the origin of your personal data or to share this data with third parties.
At any time you can limit the use and disclosure of your personal data. You may also revoke the consent given to any of the processing activities, with the exception of situations provided for in current legislation.
You may exercise your rights through the communication channels that are outlined in this policy, being necessary the validation of your identity with an official document or equivalent means of identification, in accordance with current legislation. In case the proof of legitimacy of the holder is not effective, the request will be automatically rejected. Please note that any identification information provided to ília will only be processed in accordance with, and to the extent permitted by, the current legislation.
Please note that in some cases, we cannot delete your personal data without also deleting your user account.
ília will do its utmost to answer all questions raised regarding your personal data, however, if you have unresolved concerns, you have the right to complain to the competent data protection authorities.
Changes to this privacy policy
ília reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time. Whenever we decide to change the way we treat personal data, the policy is always updated in accordance with current legislation.
We recommend that you access our policy frequently, or whenever you have questions, and to keep informed about updates and changes in our privacy policy.
